400 calorie Fix Book Review-Great tasting recipes

I am on a diet,as most everyone is at one time or another. Don't we just love it. It is so hard to come up with great tasting recipes. Yes,we can find a lot of recipes. Not all good. Well I had heard about this book a while ago,through a prevention email.

I should have ordered the  book,but I didn't. But luckily for me, I seen it in Walmart the other night. Well, I got the book and I really wish I had gotten it before. It is called the 400 Calorie Fix by Liz Vaccariello. She is the coauthor of Flat Belly Diet.

The book says you can drop up to 11 pounds in 2 weeks. And to top it off, you eat real food. She shows you how to choose the good foods over some of the bad foods. But even when you have to have the bad foods, just make sure to include as part of your calorie content for the day.

Women eat 3 400 calorie meals daily and men eat 4 400 calorie meals daily. You space your meals evenly apart. Try to eat every 4-5 hours. The main thing is to not go below 1200 calories a day. Going below that puts your body into starvation mode and will throw off your metabolism. Definitely don't need that.
And it also shows you an interesting way to measure portion sizes. Comes in handy when you have to eat out.

And don't forget to throw in some exercise. The more active you are,the more 400 calorie meals you can have. You can't beat that. And exercise will also increase your energy levels,so you will want to exercise more. But try to aim for at least 20-30 minutes 3 times a week.

And the recipes are delicious. There is breakfasts,lunch,dinner and dessert recipes. There is a little of something for everyone. Who says you can't have dessert on a diet. There is brownie bites to vegetarian dishes.Something for everybody.
