Coney Island Chili Dog Pie Review--A Very Delicious Low Carb Meal

We are doing low carb and I found this delicious recipe on Linda's Low Carb Menus. It is called Coney Island Chili Dog Pie.It's like eating a chili dog without the bun.It is so easy to make and simply delicious to eat. It's Low Carb averaging about 5-8 carbs according to the type of wiennas you use.
Both of my granddaughters loved it and they hardly eat anything we fix for us,because it is diet food as they call it.And it is yucky.Well they both had 2 helpings each of this, and even asked when I ws gonna fix it again. So it meets with their approval. They are 6 and 9 and are very picky eaters, especially the 6 year old.Her main food is yogurt.
The crust is made from eggs, heavy cream and cheddar cheese mixed in and poured over the top of beef, wiennas, cheddar cheese and spices. You bake it for about 30 minutes and let cool for about 10 minutes. This is by far the best Low Carb meal I have eaten.
Next time I think I will add some bell peppers to it.On Linda's site she has loads of recipes, menu plans and links to a lot of  Low Carb blogs and she tells a bit about herself. If you happen to be doing Low Carb, check out her site. You will find tons of rcipes that are delicious and healthy. And she gives updates on the rcipes according to the way she made them and her results.A very informative site to check out.I have included her link below.Hope you enjoy the site. And try making the recipe above. You will love it.
