Abreeza Mall of Davao – Bringing International Brands to the City

On May 12, 2011, Abreeza Mall of Davao opened its doors to the public. For over a year, the people of Davao patiently waited for the construction to finish so that they can experience a whole new shopping and dining experience in the city. And this year, it was finally unveiled to the public and there hasn’t been as much anticipation for any mall as in the past because this will also mark the first time that an Ayala mall is coming to this humble Southern city in the Philippines.

The most anticipated part about Abreeza is the opportunity to experience new brands, national or international, for those shoppers who wanted to get all the fashion, beauty, or other products that they wanted to enjoy for so long. Among the famous shopping brands that will be making its entry into the city for the first time are XOXO, Paris Hilton, Nine West, Abenson, ResToeRun, Etude House, to name a few. Whether you want to enjoy shopping for fashionable bags, or you want to get something for your athletic activities, then you can simply drop by to any of these shops to get your finds.

Another thing that shoppers are excited about, and that includes me, with the opening of the new Abreeza mall in Davao is the array of new restaurants that will be coming to the city. The most notable is Starbucks, whom Davao residents waited for so long to experience and enjoy. Hence, there is no wonder why there was such a long line at the Starbucks shop when it opened. Other famous restaurants that will be opening its branch in the city for the first time is Italianni’s, TGIFriday’s, Mooon Café, Café Laguna, Lemon Grass, and Red Kimono. Hence, it was no surprise that most of these restaurants had their own gimmicks in an effort to bring people in.

There are more shops expected to open its doors to Davao shoppers in the coming months, after all it was only a soft opening for the mall. This gives local shoppers plenty of opportunity to look around and enjoy the best brands from all over the world in their own soil.
