No Salt Review-For Restricted Diets

If you have high blood pressure,I'm sure you have heard to lower your sodium intake. Well my husband has not officially been diagnosed with high blood pressure, but if he eats a lot of pork products it rises. And he used a lot of salt. And I do mean a lot.

Well I switched his salt shake from regular salt to No Salt. He doesn't know the difference. He says it has the same taste as regular salt. He does limit his intake of pork products. But this is a little added insurance,to be on the safe side. The No Salt is recommended for Sodium restricted diets. No salt is sodium free.

1 tsp of salt has 2500 mg of sodium and No Salt has 0 sodium. The USDA only recommends 1500 mg of sodium daily. It has all the flavor without all the sodium. It is on the expensive side for salt. It costs about 4.50 for a 11 oz container. Even though regular salt is cheaper, this is better for your health. Some things are worth the extra price. And what price can you put on your health? There is no price for good health.
