Maggie Shayne is an American author with more than 40 books published.She is also active in Wicca.She has been writing since she was in kindergarten.The majority of her books are of the paranormal romance type.All of her books make for very good reading.I have enjoyed all of them so far.

Twilight Saga Series-Very Good Books
I know this was meant to be a young adult series. The books were pretty good. There are 4 books total. Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. The movies are ok. Not as in detail as the books are. But most aren't. The series follows a young girl on the shy side. She moves in with her father and goes to a new school. She meets a strange sort of family at the school who stay to themselves.
The girl Bella is intrigued by one of the guys named Edward. He is drawn to her,but not really sure why.
One thing that irritates him is he can read every one's mind except Bella's. She has another friend named Jacob from a local Indian Reservation. Edward and Jacob don't really get along too well. Both are after Bella's affections.
Bella finds out that Edward is a vampire and that Jacob is a werewolf. She is in love with Edward and wants to be changed into a vampire so she can stay with him forever. He doesn't want her to change. Doesn't want her to have that kind of life. She is bound and determined to become one even if she has to find someone else to do it.
There are some other vampires going around killing people and they want Bella. So they are trying to stop them and protect Bella at the same time.
It's an interesting storyline. There is also 3 more books that go into detail about everything that happens to Bella,Edward and Jacob. So I don't want to give too much away in case someone out there hasn't read the books. The books are huge. The series is a vampire themed romance story.
