Books A Million is the only store in Anderson,Sc. I love it because you can find everything you want. Kids love it because it has everything they want. They have games for kids of all ages. Big or small. I like the discount card which allows you to get 10% off the purchase price of anything in the store. Some things have different discounts,
This is a relaxing store.Find a book and sit down and read while the kiddies play in their area or while you shop. My granddaughters and I love going in there. We all get something to suit all of our interests. On the discount table there are lots of goodies from books, games, audio, dvd's and lots of other items.
The discount table is usually where I go first unless I'm there for a specific book. Even then before leaving I still check out the discount table. My granddaughters always find something on the table. There is books for babies to adults. They also sale books online. Same great prices. If there is a book store in your hometown, check them out. If they have a membership card, get it and enjoy the rewards.
We enjoy our bookstore and make several trips in a month. Lucky they are so close by. Only 5 minutes from my house. I go enjoy a look around, pick up some items and relax while the kiddies get their items. Lots of beautiful bookmarks, cards for every occasion, and books for everybody on anything you can think of. We love reading and Books A Million is our favorite store to shop.

National Book Store: Growing With Books
Children from middle- class family like me would practically say they grew up with National Book store. In fact I still carry my Laking National Card long after graduating from college. I was first introduced to books when my Mom took me to National Book store in Rizal Avenue Manila. I fell in love with books and my long affair with National Book store started here.
My first Nancy Drew Mystery pocketbook was bought at National Book store in Rizal Avenue which during those times was the most popular English Teen Pocketbook available in the Philippines. Most of my college reference books were also bought here since it carries wide collections of imported and locally published reference books. Through the years, National Bookstore had grown to be the largest bookstore in the country, now I can buy my books( no more Nancy Drew , I'm more into non-fictions now)at the nearest branch near my place.
You don’t have to walk a mile just to find a nearest branch, and if malling is one of your passions, you can find one branch there ready to serve you. Name a mall, and most probably there’s a National Book Store branch . Every shopping complex is not complete unless there’s one or two National Book Store.
During school opening, people flock to Divisoria (Bargain Market) to buy cheap school supplies, pushing their way through dirty and congested sidewalks. Their reason is to have some savings. I think in reality, they throwing away good money by buying those cheap and unlabeled products. A box of crayons bought at ten pesos is cheap, yes but these crayons are made from harmful chemicals that may endanger a child’s health . Since most of these products did not pass government approval, they contain toxins that are harmful to one’s health. I would not put my loved ones’ health over a few centavos saved.
Now if you are after real savings, why not buy National Book Store BEST BUY products. These items are pegged at the same price with those sold in Divisoria. These items are guaranteed to have high quality standard because it is National Book Store’s commitment to give real value for our money. Try to look for those items with BEST BUY red tag or label, and you won’t regret buying them. These are not fake nor imitations but made by reputable manufacturing companies commissioned by National Book Store to give its customer wise savings in buying their school and office supplies. I regularly buy BEST BUY copier paper and the quality is comparatively the same with those popular and expensive brands.
If you happen not to find a particular book in one branch, you can ask the friendly staff at their customer’s service and they will tell you exactly the nearest branch where you can find your book. If you don’t want to go, they can make a request in your behalf to make the book available in your favorite branch. This good service of course will make you feel like a VIP. Your Laking National card is a privilege card that earns you discounts and rebates for all of your purchases and transactions. You can get it from your nearest or favorite branch for minimum or accumulated purchases. I‘ve been using mine for years and I got a few favorite books for free or at discounted price. At National Book Store, your loyalty is graciously rewarded.
So next time you shop for a book or a pen or stationary, let National Bookstore give you the best your money can buy. You won’t regret it, I promise!
