My granddaughters had asked me to get a movie for them to watch. The oldest requested Search For Santa Paws. I don't know if you've seen this or not,but it is a really good family movie. To me it was kinda like an Annie/Santa Buddies. It restores your faith in Santa Claus. My granddaughters loved it. The oldest one had seen it at school during Christmas. The 6 year old who can never sit still, sat and watched the entire movie.
This guy's grandfather died and left him his toy store,it would be his if he made a profit over the season. There was an orphanage with some little girls who really needed something to believe in. There was Santa Claus who found a friend in a puppy he called Paws.
Santa and Paws go to New York city,Santa gets mugged and ends up playing Santa in the toy store. The orphanage is down the street from the toy store, but is run by a mean woman. She doesn't believe in the Christmas Spirit.
Well it all ends well, there is more to what I have said.but I don't want to give away the whole movie. It's one movie I will definitely have to buy to add to our Christmas Collection. It has a few musical numbers in it. But it is a very good family movie. We all enjoyed the movie very much.
And Kaitlyn Maher, that little girl can sing. She was on America's Got Talent in 2008. She was only 4 at the time and sang Somewhere Out There. Google her name and pull up a video. She was so cute. She sang on the movie as well. The movie had some musical numbers similar to Annie in it
