We had to purchase another DVD player recently.We already had one Sony.But we wanted a Blu-Ray.Well we got the Blu-Ray and let me tell you.I couldn't tell the difference between it and the Sony Player.Well I took it back and got the Sony DVD Player.Model # dvdpsr500h. This is the one I will continue to get,at least until they update them anyway.
The price is right.I only paid $49.00 for it,but to watch it you would think it was one of the more expensive players.It plays all of our DVDs with no problem.The picture it shows is unbelievable. it is so clear.The sound is excellent.I have always had a great experience with all of Sony's products.
They have a loyal customer in me.Having a DVD Player that is very reliable is a godsend when you are trying to play a DVD.We have had other DVD players that wouldn't play the DVD.But not with Sony.It plays them all with perfect quality.

Instant stitch Creator comes with 4 dvd's. 1.P.M. Stitch Creator,2.Sweater Designer,3.Kids Clothes,4.Organization. They are all very useful.I have had mine for quite a few years. It gets installed on every computer I have. You can upload pictures and turn them into stitchwork.
You can draw by hand or make stitches. There is quite a few stitches to choose from.This program is very good for all crafters. Whether you knit,crochet,cross stitch or sew. It benefits all of us. My granddaughters have fun just loading pictures and watching it change into stitches. It is very cool.
And it loads your thread colors,so you know exactly what to get to have that perfect stitched portrait. I have found the program very easy to use. Have had no problems with any of it. There is so much to do and play with on there. I got mine at Hobby Lobby. I had the 40% off coupon,so that saved me some money. Once a cat stumbled down the milk pot and my aunt called me to catch the cat and beat it. I had been fond of that cat. I was forced to catch the cat and beat. While beating slightly the cat began to lick my hand. I was so much moved. I put down the cat and it ran away. I defended the cat with my aunt. After that my aunt was off, the cat came near me and licked my foot. That day I did learn a lesson. Even the animals acknowledge the human goodness.

 cd-r King has never failed us  whenever we need some parts replacement for our computer. Just recently, our router, a take -off from my brother’s computer internet shop finally gave up after lengthy years service. I was really in frantic because my desktop could not access to the internet I share with my husband’s computer. A seeker can find genuine friends who exercise a lot of patience and enable that one may share her or his talents with the rest of the humanity.
Today writing and sharing has assumed a great advantage. You get paid for anything you express. Then you accumulate the list of friends from any corner of the world. When one receives the positive wealth, then this acts stimulates for a mutual exchange. Anywhere it be - in the physical world or in a digital world man is essentially a social being.

A leisurely Brunch: A recipe for the Weekend

For more than 5 years living independent and away from home and family, I have learned many things – one of which is to cook. Because I got a tough schedule as a Paralegal in one of the Law Offices at Quezon City, I could only manage do a real cooking time during Saturdays and Sundays, which I considered a total free days for myself. In turn, I would be waking up a little late and cook combining my breakfast and lunch, followed by watching a marathon.

I am not an expert cook, so I take recipes from magazines or my sister’s cook book or try-out from what I see on tv cooking shows. However, I would be sharing my most love experiments.

Longganisa Fried Rice

What you need:

2-3 pieces of longganisa, chopped (cooked)

2 Eggs beaten

Left over rice (preferably taken from the fridge)

2 hotdog, chopped (optional)

Salt

Garlic, chopped

Butter

oil

Procedure:

In a pan, put in the butter and a little oil and then followed by the garlic. Next is the chopped longganisa and then the rice. Keep on sautéing and mixing until the rice turns smoothly and separate. Then pour in the beaten egg and continue sautéing. You can pour the salt to taste. It is as simple as that. Here in the Philippines, there are instant seasonings we use like Maggi Magic Sarap, Ginisa Mix, and others. You can use those instead of salt.

When you make your coffee, you can try some other ways than the usual.

Coffee Madness

What you need:

Coffee

Fresh Milk

Sugar

Double Dutch, Double Choco or Choco Crumble Ice Cream

Procedure:

After brewing your coffee, pour into your mug and then add fresh milk. And then put 1 scoop of ice cream then blend. You may add sugar or not depending on your taste. If you want a cold coffee, you can add ice when blending it or as it is.

Another must try is toasting your bread differently or that most-loved Pan-de- sal.

Pan-de-sal toast

3 -5 pieces of Pandesal, cut into half (4 pcs. Bread)

Butter

2-3 beaten egg

Procedure:

Instead of using the oven or toaster, make use of a pan or pancake skillet. Soak in the bread or pandesal bread to the beaten egg and put in a hot pan with butter. The butter will serve as the oil. Then flip in to the other side and toast. Once done, you can serve it.

If you desire, you can put cooked hotdog or sausage, bacon or ham on top.

Canon A1100-IS Digital Camera - My Best Photography Buddy

I bought my Canon A1100-IS Digital Camera almost one and a half years ago and it has been my favorite gadget since. I was not really into photography, but I wanted a digital camera that I can take along with me during special occasions and gatherings to record some of the most unforgettable moments in my life in a still photograph. And boy am I glad with what Canon has delivered through this digital camera.

The Canon A1100-IS isn't the best looking digital camera in the market. In fact, I would much prefer the Sony Cybershot cameras in terms of the design, because they are rather slim whereas my Canon digital camera is a bit on the bulky side, as most other Canon cameras nowadays. There are three colors available for this model, but I chose the one with light blue because it is my favorite color and it was really cool on the eyes. I have no problems with the bulk of this camera though because it is designed to facilitate in a better grip, so you won't have trouble carrying it around.

The specification of the camera includes the following: 12.1 megapixels, 4x optical zoom, and features an image stabilizer to minimize blurring on images. It therefore features some of the most basic features that could compete with the latest technologies in the digital camera industry today. And the specifications are no doubt reflected in the actual photos that were produced from the camera, which are of high quality, even for casual photogaphers.

The thing I like most about this camera is the number of settings available, which allows you to choose the most appropriate picture setting for your needs. To give you an idea, here are the settings that you can choose from: Kids & Pets, Sunset, Easy, Nightshot, Portrait, to name a few. There is also a MOvie mode that allows you to record videos and play them back when you want to.

THe package for Canon A1100-IS also comes with a user's manual and a USB cable in the box. You can therefore refer to the manual for instructions on how to use its many features, while also consulting it for troubleshooting purposes. Meanwhile, the USB cable can be used to easily transfer files (photos or videos) from the digital camera to your computer or laptop.

Finally, the price. I bought my Canon A1100-IS for around PhP 8,000, which is roughly $150-160. Hence, it is a great value and was quite affordable given the range of features available here. Terminix Pest Control-Best In The Business

I have used Terminix for quite a few years. The house we used to live was left untreated for so long that we had uninvited guests.By the name of water bugs.We tried everything in our power to get rid of them,to no avail.They would get immune to the stuff we were using.
We had tried a few other places and their stuff didn't work either.Terminix was our last hope.And it worked.It took awhile,but it was so nice to be able to leave something on the counter and not get it taken over by the bugs.They did a very good job of keeping them under control.

Juana- shop smart to dress smart

 Most of RTW (ready-to-wear) clothes would give me problems like the size don't really fit or the seam is not well-made. When I was still in college, I used to have all of my clothes done by a local dressmaker, from my uniforms to formal dresses. When I got a permanent teaching job, all of my uniforms were also done by my dressmaker but with the proliferations of RTW clothes, and the high cost of labor, I eventually settled for ready-to-wear clothes with  great dismay.
  When ever I shop for my clothes, I always have a hard time because as my daughter would lament, I am very choosy and particular with seams and all of that. I also do not like the fact that most RTW's are mass-produced meaning a lot of people may wear same style, same design clothes at same  particular time. It happened not only once that I have seen people having  exactly same outfit which is very embarrassing. But what can I do, that's the life of an ordinary working woman like me who has to settle for RTW 's because I don't have the money to spend for  designer's wardrobes!
  Until I found out about JUANA. No she's not a dressmaker, but a  small shop catering to women like me who wants a dress made by A "Costurera" (a  mananahi, local name for dressmaker). JUANA is a small local boutique shop which sells women's dress from blouses to skirt and casual to evening formal wears and all  guaranteed - quality sewn dresses , from seams and all of that for very affordable prices. A blouse cost only around 260ph and the skirt for 250ph. It prides itself  for producing only a  limited stocks  thus the possibility of having  to share same designs and style with other people  is minimal.I have bought several blouses and skirts from JUANA and I am confident that  only a limited number of women would be wearing that same styles and designs.Plus the fact that I did not ask for any alterations because the seams and all of that are all fine as well as the fittings.

JUANA is relatively new in the business but the way the shop is always filled up with enthusiatic shoppers, it will not take long for it to grew into a bigger store chain.

Twilight Saga Series-Very Good Books

 I know this was meant to be a young adult series. The books were pretty good. There are 4 books total. Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. The movies are ok. Not as in detail as the books are. But most aren't. The series follows a young girl on the shy side. She moves in with her father and goes to a new school. She meets a strange sort of family at the school who stay to themselves.
 The girl Bella is intrigued by one of the guys named Edward. He is drawn to her,but not really sure why.
One thing that irritates him is he can read every one's mind except Bella's. She has another friend named Jacob from a local Indian Reservation. Edward and Jacob don't really get along too well. Both are after Bella's affections.
 Bella finds out that Edward is a vampire and that Jacob is a werewolf. She is in love with Edward and wants to be changed into a vampire so she can stay with him forever. He doesn't want her to change. Doesn't want her to have that kind of life. She is bound and determined to become one even if she has to find someone else to do it.
There are some other vampires going around killing people and they want Bella. So they are trying to stop them and protect Bella at the same time.
It's an interesting storyline. There is also 3 more books that go into detail about everything that happens to Bella,Edward and Jacob. So I don't want to give too much away in case someone out there hasn't read the books. The books are huge. The series is a vampire themed romance story.

Hersheys Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup-Very Good

I use the Hershey's Sugar Free chocolate syrup all the time. We make hot chocolate with it. Delicious. To do this take a cup of milk,chocolate syrup to taste,extra stevia if needed. Put in microwave for about 3 minutes. Very delicious and easy to make. A very good nighttime drink to help relax with.
I put the syrup in my protein shakes for flavor. They also have sugar free strawberry and caramel. I haven't tried those yet. It's next on my list. The syrup can be used in a lot of different ways. My granddaughter loves chocolate milk. She has to have a cup before bed. She loves the Hershey's syrup.
They come in regular,dark chocolate,lite and sugar free. And honestly I can't tell the difference. The sugar free tastes just as good as the regular without all the calories and fat. Use the syrup over ice cream,cakes,make a dip, cookies and just about anything else you can think of.You have to check out the Hershey's site for loads of different recipes.

Pet Head by Bed Head Dog Shampoo-Expensive but worth It.

 My husband’s pet dog, Bucky has a skin problem and I was so annoyed by his scratching whenever he is around the house. My husband suggested that he needs to be brought to a Vet but since money is hard to come because the business is not doing well, I suggested that we buy a dog shampoo instead and that could at least minimized Bucky’s scratching.

So off we went to a supermarket and while I was contemplating on cheap dog’s shampoo, my daughter (she accompanied me because she loves her daddy's old dog) was busy looking for something else until she spotted a product and showed it to me. My initial reaction was a big head shake. No, I will not pay a thousand pesos (Ph 1,200) for a dog shampoo, no. no of course!

She insisted on buying the shampoo and told me a classmate in the university had the same problem with her dog and used this Pet Head by Bed Head dog shampoo and the dog recovered and now has beautiful hair and smooth skin. I too insisted with my big, big No. My daughter was so persistent that she suggested that we split the money. Half the price, she’ll pay and half by me. We came into an agreement.

Bucky used this Pet head by Bed Head shampoo for two weeks bathing sessions and I was surprised that his scratching slowly went away and his hair grew shiner and his skin smooth. Now I am impressed with this dog’s shampoo. The price is expensive but it really delivers what it promises.

There’s only one thing that I am not comfortable with this dog shampoo. It is its name. I am having a hard time saying it…Pet head by Bed head dog shampoo but whatever, I am really impressed by its effectiveness and it smells good too.

Nuat Thai Libis- A Place For Real Thai Massage

I want to treat my self for working hard for these past months and I want a body massage that would bring back the zest I’m feeling slowly going down. Since I am not familiar with any Spa or massage clinic, I called up my closest friend and ask if she can recommend a good spa clinic. She’s into aromatherapy and I remembered that she had once mentioned a place for the so called Thai massage which according to her is a good way of relaxation and rejuvenation. I have heard so much about this Thai massage and I am curious if this can really deliver its promise.

My friend in her earnest reply told me to get into my computer and find in facebook the fan page of this Nuat Thai Libis which I did. The information I got from Nuat Thai facebook page (especially the photos of the place) well convinced me for some degree but the problem is that is it located in Quezon City. I want a spa clinic closer to my place since there’s no one who could drive for me. Fortunately my daughter’s friend is coming for a visit with his car and when he arrived I made a plea (they’re supposed to be going out somewhere else) to drive me to Libis area. They both agreed to drop me in Nuat Thai and as I will take a taxi back home.

 I was surprised to find that Nuat Thai Libis is really cozy and neat and nice place (the photo did not give much justice to the interiors). I immediately fall for the place. Another thing that amazed me was the prices of their services. It is cheap and very affordable. An express service for a foot, back and head massage is for only Ph 150.  I decided to have a aromatherapy massage with herbal balls( it only cost me around Ph300).As I laid down in one of their cozy room I learned from my attendant that my daughter and her friend also signed up for a massage. I wasn’t really expecting it and I did not pay much attention to the news since I am beginning to snooze off as I was being massage by my attendant. She’s very accommodating, always smiling and very polite. Each touch of Thai massage gave my body a kind of rejuvenation and I felt like I am a queen receiving pampering treats from my courts. The massage lasted for I hour and a half. After the session I felt like a new woman, back with my zest and with regained vitality.

After my first experience with Thai massage, I am now setting a budget for a thrice a month massage which according to my attendant is enough to keep my zest going. After all I deserved to be pampered for working hard and Nuat Thai Libis paved the way for this exciting and therapeutically rejuvenation treats! Now I know why Thai massage is the craze of all massage around the world. 

Red Heart Yarn-Affordable Yarn

Red Heart yarn is a very affordable and available just about everywhere. There are so many shades of colors. The medium worsted weight is probably the most used of all.It is made in the USA. The yarn comes in super fine to super bulky.

I haven't run across any that I haven't liked yet.The majority of my yarn is Red Heart. At least 75% of it. The baby yarns come in beautiful shades and the feel is so soft.They have one called Bamboo Ewe it is so soft,it feels like silk. Perfect for baby projects or anything close to your skin.The stripes yarn does the striping for you as you knit or crochet. It is absolutely beautiful.

Matthew McConaughey-Best Actor

Matthew McConaughey is one of the best actors out there. He is very versatile in the roles he can play. He can play comedy to horror with no problems. I watch everything with Matthew McConaughey in it. He is a very talented actor.

His first movie was Dazed and Confused in 1991. He played in U571(an officer),Texas Chainsaw Massacre-The New Beginning(he was crazy in this one),Fools Gold(funny movie),Wedding Planner(I loved it),How to Lose a Guy in 10 days(loved it also),Frailty(awesome movie),Failure To Launch(funny movie),Time To A Kill(a very sad movie),and many more.

He also was the lead in Trisha Yearwood's video of Walkaway Joe. I just love to watch him act. He really have a set type of role he plays.As I said he can do most anything.He also rescued several animals during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

He was born in 1969. His mother was a kindergarten teacher and his father was a gas station owner.
His parents divorced and remarried several times. Matthew is from Texas. He has 2 children,a boy and a girl with current partner.

Iron Man Movie-Comic Hero Movie

I watched this for the first time tonight. The second one is out and I wanted to see the first one first. It's better than I thought it would be. I don't really get into the comic hero movies. But this one is really good. It stars Robert Downey,Jr and Jeff Bridges. Robert Downey is back in the second version.

He had gotten kidnapped and suffered a severe heart injury from a booby trap. And one of his fellow prisoners designed a chest shield that they installed that would keep the shrapnel from entering his heart and killing him. He had to design a costume to be able to get out alive. It worked.

He designed a better suit when he got back home. It fit him a lot better. And worked better. His boss man went against him. He had help from his secretary and a military man he had met who was a marine fighter pilot James Rhodes played by Terrence Howard. This was a really good movie. Now I want to see the other part.

Michelina's Lean Gourmet-Great Food

Michelina's has great food at a great price. They have a variety of dishes to choose from. All low calorie meals. They have breakfast,lunch and dinner covered. And most all are under 300 calories each. The price is around $1.00 a piece.

They are easy to work into your diet. And if you are doing Weight Watchers it's easy to figure your points. And with low calorie diets it's easy to figure your calories and fat grams.

The taste of all the food is really great. I haven't run across any of them that I haven't liked so far. Even my husband and granddaughters like eating them. They are great meals. You can even go the site and print out a coupon. If you haven't tried them,you need to.

If you aren't on a diet they do have the original also. And they look really good also. But for now I will have to stick to the Lean Gourmet. At least I have others to go to after my weight is where it should be.

Nokia C3 - Perfect for Social Media Savvy Users

I had been using my Nokia C3 mobile phone for almost 6 months now and since then I had never had a single complaint about it.

The most notable thing that I liked best about my Nokia C3 phone is the fact that it is very affordable. During the time that I bought this phone, I never really had it in my mind to buy one. But because my old phone already just died on me, I was forced to purchase a new one. After all, mobile phones have become somewhat of a necessity these days. It was really affordable and almost half the price of my old phone, still a Nokia one.

Aside from being affordable, I liked the design of the Nokia C3. It featured a QWERTY keypad format, which is therefore designed to look like a Blackberry. It was easy to grip onto, although wider than the traditional Nokia phones. It also has a large screen so you can conveniently view the menu, or any multimedia files that you are viewing on-screen, whether it be photos or videos. And speaking of multimedia files, it features a 2-MP camera, which produces good quality photos - really, not bad for a mobile phone! Even the video quality is very good but you will need to purchase an extra memory card in order to record longer videos.

The menu interface is also intuitive and I liked that there are not much variations to the traditional Nokia menu, which makes it easier to explore and navigate even when you are using it for the first time. The icons are also easy to recognize so you are free to explore the many features available at will. Even connecting to a wireless network is very easy! When I am in a wifi area, I simply search the corresponding connection source that I would like to use to browse the internet and within a matter of seconds, I can go online to check my mail. Or, I can also update my tweet or status on Twitter and Facebook, respectively. There are readily available apps for these two social networking sites and is available on the main menu, which makes it real convenient to catch up to your social media life! You can therefore update your social networking sites even when on the go!

For its combination of beautiful design, ease of navigation on the menu, huge offerings of features, and a manufacturer brand that you can rely on, you will find that Nokia C3 is a true value. I have proven it and it is therefore one of my most satisfying purchases to date!

The Mechanic Movie Review-Awesome Movie

 The Mechanic is a bad movie. And I don't mean bad in a bad way,either. It is a great movie. Loaded with action. The movie features Jason Statham in the lead role. He plays the part of a hitman. A very good one,too. He has to train someone that is close to one of the victims that he eliminated for a better word.
 If you like the hitman type of movies, you really are gonna like this one. Jason is a very nice looking man to boot. Not a very talkative man,though. But he isn't talkative in any of his movies. He was in the Expendable with Sylvester Stallone.
 My daughter thinks that there is nothing like him. She is totally hooked. She is going to love this movie. I love his accent,he's from England. And he is built up in this movie. The guy is training is good also. His name is Ben Foster. He played on 3:10 to Yuma with Russell Crowe. He was very intense through the movie.

My husband is an avid Beatles fan. It is his passion to listen and collect Beatles music. Last 2010 Christmas, he bought a ‘used “  Beatles USB Limited Edition USB Apple set. He was so excited about it and was telling everybody how good a collection it is.

Well,actually, this Beatles YSB Limited Edition USB Apple box set is a green illuminous apple (remember Beatles’ home label?) which has removable USB drive that can be stuck to the USB slot of a PC or a Mac. My husband enjoys 13 remastered Beatles Studio Albums plus the Past Masters I and II albums in  iTunes-friendly 320 MP3. I asked him what’s drives him crazy with this MP3 format? He coyly answered that these are DRM-free, without  restrictions on what device  can play these digital tunes or what you can do with the files. I couldn’t understand any thing about it but the excitement and thrill every time he would play it had convince me enough that it is really good!

 Now I always join my husband in listening to his Beatles Apple box set. I found the music  in high –quality audio format and found my self falling in love with Beatles music. The Amazing Yamaha PSR-3000

            The Yamaha PSR-3000 is an amazing digital keyboard for the money.  For around $2,000.00 USD the keyboard is packed with functions that are included in keyboards costing thousands of dollars more.  Some of the interesting options that come standard on the PSR-3000 are a USB to device connector port that allows you to connect to external hard drives, Flash Memory Sticks, floppy drives and Internet broadband connection capabilities.  There are In and Out MIDI ports, Main Out, Auxiliary Fixed Level Output, Auxiliary Input, Microphone/Line Input, Input volume knob, Video Out, Foot Pedal 1 and 2, USB to Host and Device and a LCD Contrast adjustment knob all located on the back of the keyboard.  This is just the back of the keyboard and it is just amazing!

            A musician’s dream that is what this keyboard is.  For a relatively small price you can have the capability of a full blown studio that you would pay hundreds of dollars per hour for a few years ago.  So how could that be?  Thanks to the advancement of digital audio technology, sounds, effects, sequencing, mixing and mastering can all be done on the PSR-3000 digital keyboard.  The Yamaha Corporation has come a long way since its inception on October 1^st, 1987.   On the front of the keyboard are multi-pads, buttons and dials that allow you to change the parameters of the keyboard. 

            Other features include a music holder that connects directly to the top back part of the keyboard so you can prop up sheet music in front of you while you play. Oh, and if you are into Karaoke then this is the keyboard for you.  You can “play” karaoke files via a USB flash drive or upload files from a memory card inserted into the front SmartMedia storage card slot located on the bottom of the keyboard.  You can store MIDI, STYLE, REGISTRATION and SYSTEM DUMP files on either flash memory medium.  The keyboard comes preloaded with USER files and you can create your own and store them to your memory media.  The keyboard can also act as a conduit that allows you to transfer files from one type of memory medium to another. 

            There is a large QVGA color screen located smack dab in the middle of the keyboard.  This is the Holy Grail; this is the control portal for all the functions of the PSR-3000 workstation.    You navigate the screen functions by pressing buttons surrounding the screen that interact with the graphic tabs displayed within the screen area.  There are many other silver colored buttons all over the top of the keyboard that control other keyboard workstation functions.  Along with these silver buttons there are brown rubber “multi-pads” that allow you to instantly setup and control the keyboard. For example, styles have 1 to 4 variations that you can switch to instantly using multi-pads on the left side of the keyboard.  On the right side, multi-pads control the setup of the keyboard instantly with a single touch. And let's not forget the Tap Tempo button that provides a method of tapping in the tempo speed.  You tap this large silver button four times and the keyboard will start the style or song tempo at a rate that equals an average of the time between the four taps.  Did you get that?  Moving right along, there are transport control buttons like those found on the front of a tape deck.  These allow you to stop, play, pause, and advance and reverse the status of song play. 

            The sounds in the keyboard are generated by a sophisticated AWM Tone Generation chip.  This keyboard can play 128 sounds at the same time (polyphonic) and comes with a set of 12cm and 4cm dome speakers built in.  It is capable of recording and playing 16 tracks simultaneously which can be “bounced down” to create an almost infinite number of virtual tracks.  The drum kits included with the keyboard are extensive, from jazz, hip-hop or trance any drum kit you can think of comes standard with the PSR-3000.  There is also a “Player Assist” function that helps to teach you how to play or sing.  For example there are special song files that will stop playing if you are off-key (remember the microphone can plug directly into the back of the keyboard) the PSR-3000 will wait for you to sing the proper note and continue playing once you have hit the right note.  

            You can show Karaoke words or sheet music scroll graphics on a TV with the video RCA connector located on the back of the keyboard.  Connect directly to the Internet and download content from the keyboard's web browser.  We can go on and on but this may be a good place to stop.  We can revisit the Yamaha PSR-3000 at a later date.  To describe all the nuances of the functions for this keyboard would take hundreds of pages; we will start here for now.  With all of these functions and then some, the PSR-3000 Digital Workstation Keyboard is truly amazing!

            

8 Seconds Movie Review-Great Movie

This is one of the greatest movies I have ever seen. It is based on a true story of a rodeo bull rider. The character is Lane Frost played by Luke Perry. Who happened to look a lot like the original Lane Frost. Lane was a 1987 PRCA Bull Riding World Champion.


He met his wife Kelly at a event. She was a barrel racer. The movie shows Lane making it to the top all the while trying to wing his father's love. His father was a champion at one time and could never really tell Lane how good he was. He was always telling him that if he had done this or that he could have made it to the next level.


Lane and Kelly had some problems and split for awhile. The whole time they were apart,he could never concentrate on the bull riding. He could never give it what he had. He was good. His 2 friends Tuff Hedeman played by Stephen Baldwin who also a 3 Time World Champion and Cody Lambert were with him every step of the way. 

Lane learned the tricks of the trade from his father who was a bronc rider champion himself. Lane actually rode a bull that no one had ever been able to ride. No one had ever stayed on that bull for 8 seconds.In 1989 he rode a bull called Taking Care of Business.He rode for the 8 seconds and after his dismount he had turned his back to the bull. The bull hit him in the side,severing a major artery and breaking some ribs


He dies from the internal bleeding on the arena floor. Later that year his friend Tuff rode in the National Finals Rodeo. He stayed on for the 8 seconds and stayed on an additional 8 seconds to honor his friend Lane Frost. 


It is a very sad movie. A good crying movie. If you like cowboys and bull riding you will like this movie. I have had it for years,ever since it first cam out in 1994. And every time I watch I cry. It is a very good movie though.
