Skycable Digibox – Quality Entertainment at Home

SkyCable is one of the most popular cable providers in the Philippines and I am one of their loyal subscribers for years now. However, it was only recently when they introduced the Digibox tool for all subscribers and it introduced a few additional features that I believed helped to improve the quality of their service and the entertainment that I can enjoy.

Instead of a cable connection, Skycable channels are now transmitted via this mini component that is attached to your television set. Hence, there is no need to worry about extreme weather conditions or other external factors that could cause damage to the cable connection. You can rest assured that there is good signal available for your home viewing on a 24/7 basis, whether the weather is good or bad.

Another feature that I like best about the Skycable Digibox tool is the EPG or Electronic Program Guide. There is a number of information provided in the EPG, such as weekly programming guide, info on the television show you are currently watching or about to be shown. The weekly program guide can provide information on show schedules for up to one week. Hence, you can take note of what day or time your favorite show is going to be aired so you will never miss a single episode ever again! It is therefore important for those who lead a busy lifestyle so you can schedule your activities and TV viewing routine depending on what time your favorite shows are on.

The only downside to the Skycable Digibox tool is that you are forced to use your cable connection only in one television set at home. Hence, you need to purchase another Digibox component if you have more than one television set, which can be expensive over time. If you cannot afford that, then you need to settle for just one television with cable TV connection.

Nonetheless, it will be worth the investment you make because Skycable has delivered quality entertainment for years and continue to do so.
